Deleting or Archiving a Collection
Manage the lifecycle of your collections when they are no longer needed.

When a community or organization is no longer active, you can clean up your workspace by either archiving or permanently deleting the collection.

Navigate to Danger Zone
In 'Collection Settings', scroll all the way to the bottom to find the 'Danger Zone'.

Select Archive or Delete
Choose 'Archive Collection' if you simply want to hide it from your active list, or 'Delete Collection' if you want to permanently erase it.

Confirm the Action
A confirmation modal will appear. You must type the name of the collection exactly as it appears to confirm the deletion.

Finalize
Click the final confirmation button. A collection can only be deleted once it has no groups left in it.
Permanent Deletion
Deleting a collection is irreversible. Collections that still contain groups can't be deleted, so move or delete those groups first. Archiving is usually the safer choice.
